if she ur best frd then don't ignore her i now its very difficult to digest that ur best frd is lesbian but u can just title bit cut of with her try talk her frankly ur ques has put in me in avery difficult sitution

My best friend is a lesbian and we have been there for each other for about 15 years. Yes I was a little freaked out at first, but she knew that I was straight and never did anything. She told me and said that she would never try anything because I was like a sister to her.
I think as long as your friend has understood that you are straight she will not bother you for that aspect of it. You should be there for her. Just because she is lesbian does not mean that she wants you. It also means that you will get honest answers about how you look. Because she isn't going to be worried that you think she's checking you out cause you already know she's gay.
My friends took our lesbian friend shopping for our prom. And WE all looked Good!

No you don't stop hanging around her. What would you do if a guy asked you out and you didn't want to go with him? Here's what you can do. Just say "thank you. i'm very flattered but i'm not looking to date or get into a relationship. plus, i'm straight and I value you as a good friend but nothing more intimate." It's very simple. Just be kind and nice and they will understand.
