He was my close friend. We always chat with each other, laughing and sharing problems with each other. But one day he started to keep a distance between us. But my other friend told me that he was joking and then my friend dont know why he continued it. Last Sept 9 we talk to each other then he said that hes so guilty on what he did to me. But after that,we never talk to each other again and i dont know why! Im giving him a letter but he never had a reply nor my txt msgs. Sometimes i caught him staring at me and laughing while telling a joke. Can you give a reason why he is like that toward me?

Forget the letter. Forget the text message or e-mail or any of that stuff. Try approaching this the old fashion way: Talk to him. Ask him.

It sounds like he likes you more than a friend. When you said "guilty on what he did to you" -- what did he do? If he does like you more than a friend, it would make sense why he took that step back because he might feel that you wouldn't feel the same. Friends of the opposite sex - guys and girls being friends - sometimes it don't work when one starts having feelings for the other. Sometimes it can't destroy a friendship. Sometimes, a strong and lasting relationship can come out of it. I've heard couples say that they were friends before anything. It'll be okay.

Maybe he likes you and he thinks that it is bad to fall in love to a bestfriend that's why he is like that.
