Sure, yeah. You trudge through a world of strangers, dubious smells and aches, holding your little ticket of purpose and meaning, and half the world gets to speak before you do. Then finally you get to where you thought you needed to be, only to realise you were wrong nearly 8 million people ago, and you need to join another line entirely, and you take a number, and it's 7,948, 357...
I call that "Wednesday," generally...

Tennessee has got to have the worst DMV's I've ever had the misfortune of visiting, and Alaska probably has the best.
So sure, some days I feel like I'm spending the whole day dealing with Tennessee's DMV bureaucracy...I wait in line for hours just to be told..."Oh...we don't do registrations at this DMV...you have to go to another DMV office which is an hour from this one, and when you're done there...come back to this one, stand in line another 8 hours and we might be able to help you..." kind of thing. It's infuriating...simply because I have no control...I have to do things "their way" so I just grit my teeth, suck it up, and do it.
However, I'm happy to say that most days I do feel like I'm in Alaska's DMV...I walk in...and 10 minutes later I'm done. One stop DMV shopping...no waiting, no BS...no struggle...sheer bliss.

Funny thing is that I haven't had to go to the DMV in so long I wouldn't know that exact feeling. For me, I have a near perfect driving record. That means no line unless I want to change my photo and who wants to look older. So, I guess life is more like rush hour traffic, thousands of people all trying to get to different places at the same time and all having to take it slow for a while to work together to achieve their individual goals.

Defenitely.
I'm thinking i should cut my way through the line.
Or just exit the line and be on my way.
I think it's time i created a new pathway for myself, rather than just settle for a line-up life.
I want to be extraordinary.
And i don't like feeling as though i'll be waiting my whole life for something i could have done right away...
I guess the key is to figure out exactly what you're waiting in line for.
If you can be happy on your own and just do the things you always wanted to do and be with the people you always wanted to be with and just... go on like that with a completely free spirit, i think everything will be okay.
You just gotta have faith, as stated by George Micheals and more recently, Limp Bizkit.

Kind of.
It's like I've already been there forever, and had so many numbers. And I've given away #10, #37, #63, #92.... and so on to someone else just because it didn't feel like the right time or someone else needs it more than I do. And I'll probably be giving away #7,948,356 as well. But the time will come. It'll be worth the wait!

In Ohio we don't have DMV...we have BMV! Not to mention that most of our BMV locations here in Toledo are pretty efficient, the whole 'long line at the DMV'-joke is kind of lost on me!
Anyways, for me, life is like one of those coin funnels that they have at museums and zoos, and I'm a coin...
