Don't know your age, but yeah! --

Ignore the folks who want to make cracks -- people either are smart enough to play or...

We go to a gamer's store and play in groups on a regular basis (we: my husband and myself and a bunch of our friends).

What cracks me up is the young'ns who come in and talk about how their DADS have seen an old first edition set before. ! And I'm like -- "Dude!! I was there when they were invented, bought one and still have the die you color in with the crayon!" And the teeny boppers are all "whoa!"

Don't dispair. Try doing a search for a local game group or a game store. Sometimes you can find others who game at the game card stores.

We tend to just convert our friends who don't game. We invite them over and play something quick and easy, with lots of food. Suddenly they realize they've been having a great time and it's hours later.

Best of luck (P.S. which edition do you play? first ed. second ed., thirded., or 3.5?)

I think more adults would play D & D more except for the fact that it takes hours and hours. I know I liked to play but dont have the time to devote to it anymore.

Yes. My husband and I try to when we can--our gaming group has been sort of falling apart, but we play when we can get enough people.
