I always liked Friendly's Fribble shake. Johnny Rocket's makes the best chocolate malt. I'm actually lactose intolerant, so I judge by drinking a shake down, seeing if it makes me sick, and if it does and I still want another one, that's a good shake!

Sadly, I live in NY and the closest Sonic is in PA, but I hear they are good too.

Steak and Shake is the best place to get shakes !!! I don't consider them a real "fast" food place though !!! For a real fast food resturant, I'd choose Burger King ( the BK Lounge). They have good thick shakes !!!

Sonic is the best. They have very thick and flavorful shakes. So many other places have runny shakes.

I like Jack in the Box (though there's none in Colorado where I currently live) and Arbys. If the Frosty counts then Wendys too.
