can anybody tell me if the angel have wings or not?

A pure being is compared to white colour.... so also such being is very gentle and light hearted. These aspects are symbolized in the white flowing attire and wings of angels.
Even when children are very cheerful, and bouncing, it almost seems like they have wings, when they jump and run around instead of walking like adults with heavy and weary steps !

The Bible describes the living creatures in the Heavens who have wings...read Ezekiel, Chapter 1. I don't believe that all Angels have wings...like Charobs, yes. But, I'm not totally positive.

I just know for certain that the Bible does describe a class of Angels with wings.

Angels don't have wings...they do not posses a corporeal body like we do, therefore, they don't need wings to fly. Wings were developed in our artwork to depict a being that can take the shape of a human and can fly. Angels are pure spirit, and sometimes in artwork, the more wings that an angel has, the higher ranking the angel.

angels do good deeds....things that are right......(wings i say) ....courage.....to do good is great but can you get off the groud can you stay afloat in the air. there is alot of polution everything that burns beneath releases things into the air. normal people decide to abide in the worlds best veiws. do you have the courage to take flight. you will be like the apostles he who truely seeks the true in christ and submits himself inthe likeness of christ will be persecuted and stoned by the world. the courage (wings) to fly. you will learn true happiness even though you are heavily pesecuted. god will be there for you dont give up. so do angels have wings some are stronger than others but everyone has there place in christ.

The idea of angels only begins in the Judeo-Christian concept during the Jews' exile to Babylon (The Babylonian Captivity).. There are no references to angels before that in Hebrew Scriptures..

However, in Babylonian mythology, angels were emmisaries from the gods, and they were always depicted as having wings. The Jews incorporated this idea and in the later (post- exile) books of the Jewish Bible, angels are present.
