I am studying Theology and ethics. I am interested in Councelling.

Judging by my previous answers do you think I would be good at this profession?

To an earlier answer-er, There was a misspelling in the text: But, No, there are not 'too many 'L's' in the word 'Counselling' here.'

Americans spell it with 1 L, the English spelling is with 2.

I've no idea whether you'd be any good or effective as a counsellor. In part, it depends upon whether you have in any way some ability to empathise with others, but it's also about many other things - none greater and none lesser.

No one counsellor can work with everyone. If you are open to recommendations, then, 'Sheldon Kopf' wrote the book

'If You Meet Buddha on the Road, Kill Him.'

I was reading it in an Tube train and went three stations past my stop ....I was reading the part where he talks of 'Why he turns some people away from his door.'

It validated my sense of an understanding so much ....I ran past my stop as I read it through three times.

If you read it, I hope you get something from it.

Good luck.
Sash.

I don't recollect your previous answers; however, if you are passionate about this field, I think you will do fabulously.

You can do anything you deeply desire and work hard at!
