I heard they recently teleported atoms from A to B but that it technically wasn't true teleportation as the original atom was destrotyed and an exact replica reappeared. That would mean - if it was a human - a clone would appear. I guess the quantum maths required to manage all the data would be the biggest hurdle.

it is theoretically possible, quantum inseperability tells us that. But there are lots of unanswered questions such as if you teleport a whole human, does the soul transport too? and stuff like that - it is goin to be quite far in the future and may not even be considered safe for humans,

by then though and with that level of matter manipulation we could creat things out of raw material in no time

At the moment, science is not close to such a feat, but with the rate of progress witnessed over the last 100 years (we didn't even know about atoms really), who could ever rule it out - to do so is stupid, we cannot see the future (at the moment!)

definitely.
Whatever the human brain can think of is possible. Tho it may take very long time to be feasible

Remember the avatars, Jesus ... they were seen simultaneously at different places. Whats that in scientific terms if not teleportation?

Yes, but not in the next 100 years.

There you go the Z teleported down several lines without any damage to it.......

I don't think you or I would be alive to see any viable form of quantum transportation. I think the hardest thing to overcome would the the Hiesenber uncertainty principle.

It will never be possible. Man does not have the technological advances to make it possible. To transport a human, you would need to know how to record, diminish, and then produce those billlions of atoms again and its just not possible. Its like hoping for time travel, it is a dream that will never be realized.

Sure - not any time soon. You just have to try harder to figure it out.
