Honestly telling u, when I was in Level1, at that time I answered for earning just 2 points. Later, I've always tried to help others by answering. I think it's not ur total points that judges ur performance, but it's ur percentage of best-answers that should be the parameter to judge ur answering quality. Isn't it ? This 'Yahoo Q&A' is really a good medium to get help from others, helping others 'n also taking others opinions about impotant issues.

I always try to help. I have had questions I have asked that were serious to me. Then when people come back with stupid answers it makes me angry. Then I remind myself that these are every day people and that makes it easier.
There are times when someone throws in a silly, funny question and that is the way I respond to it. It is like anything else, there is a time and place for everything.

i mostly only answer the questions that i honestly think i can help people with. There are the questions that are silly and deserve a silly answer that i do once in a while but when i ask a question i only want serious answers so that is what i try to do for other people.
They obviously have a problem or they wouldn't be asking so why not try to help?

This is website is the only one on the planet that many of question are stupider then the answers if you want to call them questions. But, them many are under the age of 15 or that is their IQ. I am not sure which.
This site seems to replace the open chat room.

I come here a couple or three times a day. And every time I answer it truly is in the hope of helping someone out. The stupid non-answers, the insults... they annoy me to no end.
