my teacher asked me what is the greatest legacy of emile durkheim to social and political philosophy. i chose suicide. we all know that durkheim is a sociologist, so his works are obviously related to social philosphy. but what about the political part?

see the movie "the life of david gale" then you will maybe come closer to what you are looking for....i dont really know anything about emile durkheim.....
