Interestingly, I don't believe in love at first sight (to me, that's just physical attraction) but I do believe in everyone having a soulmate. Having a soulmate does not mean you don't have to work on the relationship, though. Taking things for granted is not a good thing.

All connections take work and some are easier than others but you can have a soul mate and still need to nurture and maintain the relationship. The two are not mutually exclusive.

I believe we all have soul-mates! I also believe in reincarnation and that we usually travel with the same people in some form usually until we settle our differences or learn to adapt to them.
I believe soul-mates are not necessary that special romantic partner but friends that you know would do anything for you and support you no matter what. Romantically if you find your soul-mate you will know. I used to dream constantly about a man with strong arms that the minute they wrapped round me I felt safe (never happened before). I met my partner he cuddled me, I knew I'd found my soul-mate.
