I have a lovely big hutch for my bunnies, the upstairs is 4'4" x 18" and I need to find a cover for this part. I do not want the flimsy canvas sort sold in Pets R Us, I want a waterproof/windproof cover, preferably with some kind of insulation, to keep my adorable bunnies dry and warm in the winter weather to come. Anyone know anywhere (UK)?

Hi, Preferably a hutch should have lino on the base, covered with a layer of paper and a good couple of inches of straw, increasing it as it gets colder. This is sufficient to keep them warm during the winter nights. You could always put some dowels in the frame of the living quarters and make another smaller frame and fit it with perspex ( like a window). Make sure you leave a space for air flow. A tarp is also good, removing it the day. Bunnies hate it too warm, and will snuggle for warmth. May I suggest you get a bigger hutch. minimum 5 feet x 2 feet for two buns, bigger if you can. A run should be 6 x 3. They should be able to make at least three hops in the living area. I work for the Southeasts biggest rabbit rescue. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I use some rigid roof insulation(not quilt). it is warm and coated in foil,so it is waterproof.
you can buy it from your local builders merchants it comes in different sizes,so you can cut it to the required size.

I doubt you could buy a pre-made one. Why don't you ask a handyman to make from from perspex?
