sometimes i hear a series of blep sounds coming out from the cpu then suddenly my computer stops responding followed by a shutdown. what's the problem with my computer.tnx

Seems like the cpu is overheating, and to prevent damage the motherboard shuts down the computer.

if it is after a long usage?
then it colud be due to overheating! try to put ur cpu on the desk not under the desk ok.
if it is while using internet and ur os is win xp?
then u need to reinstall the os.
if none of these two then try to reassamble the cpu and remove all the dust from processor fan. and try again. it will work.
But if its still not working then go to hardware expert vander.

It might be overheating and crashing. Try to clean up the dust from inside of the computer.
