Ive lately told my bosses that I was looking for another job because i didnt get any satisfaction doing this job, money etc...Now that Ive got a string of interviews coming up,they've come back to me asking me if i'd be willing to renegotiate for more money, more responsibilities,etc...I would like to taste something new and learn new things, but maybe i should stick with what i know best now that they want to improve my situation.I know that it will be my call in the end,but please give me your opinions or similar experiences.

if you feel that they can give you the satisfaction via negotiation, then stay, but never take you eye off a new job. but, if you can find a job that pays well enough and give you job satisfaction, then go for that

at some point you will want a new adventure, so, maybe this is the time to go for a new job and a new life!

Depends on what you really want? Do you feel they're actually sincere? If you'd rather venture out and learn more things, then perhaps that's what you should do! You know, getting more experience, money, etc. Staying there could create some tension in the work place because they see now just how valuable you are, but could cause other co workers to feel that you complained and now getting more money than they?
You're the only one that can make the decision whether to leave or stay....weigh the pros and cons about this present job against working somewhere else... go ahead and go on those interviews and do NOT sign ANYTHING from the present job until you're absolutely sure what you're wanting to do... Think about what your dreams are...and go for them.
Good luck

If more money will not fix the ills of your current position then go but tell you current employeer youd like to re address this offer if after a reasonable short time you have found no improvement with another position. Also tell him that you would like the opportunity for a follow up exit interview to possibly improve the conditions for other employees they have invested in.

I was in a similar situation a couple of years back and have regretted my decision for a long time afterwards.
I know it's probably not the same but I found that 'better the devil you know' works very well. If they are willing to give you a decent raise in pay and more responsibilities then bite their hand off.
If you don't like it then you have lost nothing and can begin looking again!

I always go by this:
If at work more friends have left than are still there then it is time to go too.
Money really should come second to job satisfaction (as long as you have enough to survive on that is) so you should think about will the new duties make you happy or will leaving be the best option.

treat their offer the same as any other offer which might come about through your planned interviews. Compare everything before making your decision.

If you were already looking for another job, then perhaps it's about more than just the money. I think it is probably time to move on, but it's up to you, Good luck with whatever choice you make.

it depends of what job your qualified to do and the salary that you know you can get,are you looking for the same job that you have now?All jobs become mundane after you have been doing the same thing week in and out.It shows that your employer at the moment thinks your worth holding on to,If i were you i would negotiate with the present employer you can still think about things ,also go along to a couple of interviews see what they have to offer and you may get some vibes back as to if they may offer you a position.

Go to the interviews and see what is out there. You might find something better or learn that staying where you are and changing what your doing is better. Especially if you have a few years invested in the company. Sometimes the devil you know is far better than what's out there....Best of luck...

It sounds like it's time for you to go. New environment, new people, in a different industry, doing different things. But try your best to leave on good terms. You just never know when you will have some further contact with the same people, and you will want them to think favorably of you.

I would go, If you are not happy and the only reason they are giving you what you want is because you wanted more, then they KNOW you are good at what you do and don't want to lose you. But that just goes to prove that you are good at what you do.

And if you have these other opportunities I would take them it is not every day you can have a chance to grow and who knows what you might be missing out there.

Good Luck on whatever you decide to do.
