Go to the hardware store and buy a 1/4" union.It just takes a few minutes to put it in and it's fixed,permanantly.It shouldn't cost but about $3.

You should be able to get either a tape product at a auto supply store or at a hardware store you may find a putty to patch it temporarily.

Try dripping hot wax on it, or putting some chewed chewing gum on it?
