I had a Tubal Ligation done last friday(10/6).I have had a pretty good appetitie.I have not had a bowl movement.Today I am in some pain in the stomach area and lower abdominal.HAs any other ladies had this prob?My mother-in-law had her tubes tied about 6 years ago and her bowl never woke up so she had to have another operation.Serious answers only please.Just curious while I wait for doc to call back.

Everyone is different after a surgery, it could be that your bowels are just reacting to everything that just happened. It may just take your body some time to readjust to the surgery, everytime I have a Major operation something like this always happens, and my doc always told me it was my body "freaking out" with everything that just happened to it...

Sorry, I never had that problem. But I had my tubes done immediately after child birth. So any problems I had may have been due to that.
