I have a new boyfriend, but I keep going back to my ex. I don't want to be with him though, because he treated me really badly.

I do care for my boyfriend alot, we get on well but I think I'm turning into my dad.

Could this be one of the reasons?

You have a fear of commitment. You'd do well to explore the reasons for this (and ignore the insults others have posted here).

It's only cheating if you are telling someone it's only them. If you are upfront with everyone and they know they aren't exclusive then they all know the deal. It's when people want to have some safety girlfriend/boyfriend but also want to play the field. That is not fair to that person who is thinking there is some relationship there when in fact there is not one. You have to be honest with everyone involved.

Does this new guy treat you good? a lot of women are attracted to men that treat them badly. I have a friend who will walk all over a man who treats her good and go back to the ones that treat her bad...

You probably have the illusion the grass is greener on the other side but when you get there it never is,when you have fantasys of being with other people keep them as that,or one day you will end up old and alone.

You are a cheat, you should admit that. it s no crime other than it won't help you to settle down in a relationship. You need some serious professional counselling if you really want to settle down in a marriage, otherwise, it's not a crime, keep on cheating.

You obviously love your ex and love has no rhyme or reason, we don't always like the people we love! Let your boyfriend go so he can find someone who will love and cherish him as you appear to do your ex
