Ostotan is in the hills outside of Jalisco it is way out there there are no paved roads it is very beautiful and peaceful. it is outside a town called "Apulco" Not Acapulco you go through this little town turn off the paved road and take your chances in the rainy season becuse the road may be washd out

Could it be that you where in michaujcan, their are many pine trees and all the people make meubles --wooden furniture and sell it in tonala and Guadalajara many mountains every where in jalisco, farm country and stuff i lived in tepatitlan for 3 years and that place san Juan DE largos has a really big church many say that if you have a problem that's the church to pray in,many pictures on the back upper wall of real people that had their problems resolved after going their, i prayed that the girl i was with at the time would marry me and she did, i got married in tepatitlan in 2001, she is beautiful just like her country, starting our house their, next weekend, i'm happy their its very peaceful in lower mexico and the Germans and french people are nice too, have a good day.

im sure they have, but not me. been to jalisco, but it was just a sidetrip on the way back from guanajuato, guanajuato and i spunt about a half day in san juan de los lagos, , , strange place, quite a few of the people there resembled gringos more than mexicans, , , we were wandering thru the flea mkt and i asked my son, , , whats that gringo truckdriver doing selling beads here? i think there were a lot of german settlers there or something at one time.
other than that ostotan sounds like my kind of place, , , ill keep it in mind.
