I finished both - possibly due to lack of oxygen to the brain!

Deception Point was a great read while the Digital Fortress didn't appeal to me. And if you did not like either one, there must not be any imagination or romance in you soul.

Wouldn't even start them as the Da Vinci code was the biggest load of rubbish I have read in a long time - and I speak as a non Roman catholic, I thought the style and characterisation were terrible

I have read all four of his books and enjoyed them all. No where near as good as The Da Vinci Code or Angels and Deamons but still well worth the read!

Actually I read both, though the DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons are better I enjoyed both. They are detailed laden of course which I think slows it down but there is a good story there.

Weren't they AWFUL! He's such a bad writer that the actual stories are the only thing that keeps the reader going, and in Digitial Fortress particularly, I have never read such a bad story in my life!!

Gunther - you need to learn some manners, the only pig i see around here is you.
I agree they were both boring in relation to Angels and Demons and Da Vinci.

Lol! yeah, i don't get what the big
'dan brown' deal is all about. i haven't read either book, but i did read the da vinci code. i thought the story itself was ok, but his writing was kind of amature and dull. i had no interest in reading another book by him. sorry you had to die of boredom though!

Just at the end of digi fort. I didn't get bored with it, but I sort of guessed what was going to happen alot of the time. Not a bad twist at the end. But his writing is a little, how shall we say?? Basic? Makes for easy reading I guess.
