The ignition key to an electric golf cart has been lost, and nowhere to be found. So now it is keyless, and no way to start it to drive it. Does anyone know if there is a manual override switch somewhere, so I won't have to get a key replacement?

I have an EZ-Go golf cart. My 7 & 8 yr old grandsons lost mine & I am using (for 2 yrs) a little bitty key that is for a padlock for luggage. I have also used a tiny little skinny screw driver. I still have not discovered where the original key disappeared.

I used to work at a place that used golf carts and they all used the same key. It didn't matter which cart it was. See if that is true for your cart.

Have you actually tried contacting the Hyundai customer service or the place you bought the cart from? If you are under warranty they should be able to fix it or send a tech over to check it out.

It would just be easier to contact the company and get a new key!
