well that took all the fun out of my answer! lol I think it is a tremendous help, as long as they do as asked :) I enjoy the camaraderie myself......not too mention things that could happen on the kitchen table while the dinner is cooking in the oven ;)

Depends on the man mine's a nuisance but, when his cousin lived with us he helped alot. Now, I'm not saying my hubby sucks in the kitchen cause he's actually a great cook. He's just not good at letting me do things my own way( I boil rice and he steams it so he'll come behind me in the kitchen and dump some of my water and not say anything so I burn the rice)

Nuisance! I can't stand anyone in the kitchen when I'm cooking.

I think ANYONE in my kitchen is a nuisance to my cooking efforts, but I love when my husband throws the dishtowel over one shoulder and washes stuff!

Definitely a help! There's always some chore you can do to help prepare a meal. And sometimes, there are those men who are actually better than women in helping out in the kitchen.

helpful but sometimes a nuisance, when I'm cooking dinner and your grabbing my but or trying to make the moves on me, just remember I'm trying to concentrate. its like when your watching the football game and us girls want to talk or cuddle or have sex, you dont want to be bothered right?

my ex boiffy was tooo much of a help so much that he became a nuisance - in that he would basically take over.. he was sooooo particular about everything so in the end i just let him be - well - it was his flat anyway.. heheheheh

but i would like my future hubby to be as much of a help as possible...

Well, since I don't cook, then most definately a help! My fiance is a damm good cook, too.

I think it's so sexy walking into a kitchen and seeing nothing but an apron and flour hiding his goodies....;))

If you know what you're doing in the kitchen, that's a great help. But if you're just getting underfoot or loitering then get out.

My husband doesn't go in the ktichen while the cooking is happening, but after dinner he cleans everything and loads the dishwasher, in fact, he gets upset if anyone else gets in his way while he is doing it.
It works for us...
