i checked the box which said i would like to receive notifications everytime my question has been answered. now i wanna uncheck it. help! i dont wanna spam yahoo.. that would be really ironic. lol

Go to the My Q&A tab at the top of your screen, from there, click edit my info, then scroll all the way down and uncheck the box that says: When I ask a question, notify me when I receive new answers. (You will be able to override this setting each time you ask a question as well as change it in your Open Question view.) Save changes and you're done.

You may need to reset your privacy settings...when you have a Y!A account, it's kind of like facebook/myspace now, you actually have a profile and when you add a contact (like adding firends) they will get update emails on everything you do...I'm not sure right at this moment what exactly you have to do, but try clicking on the "my activity" tab up at the top and I'm pretty sure there is something you can click on below your avatar pic to change your account settings...

Go to you're personal profile (click on the avatar, and then on profile settings) and in the same place where you can decide if you want to be open to emails, you can choose not to be emailed you're answers. That way, it will always come up as unchecked, leaving you with the option to check it.

When you ask a question, you should be able to uncheck the box at the bottom.

open the page that u wanna stop recieving answers from then click on the side where they have the bars underneath ur question the last one stop receiving replies
