depends on house rules.
if you sink someone elses ball on a scratch
or even sink you own balls on a scratch
they usually stay down,and you lose your turn...

Depends if your playing tournament or just regular 8 ball with someone. IF it is a tournament then the ball goes to the opponent and he will spot it. IF it is just regular 8 with someone then you leave the cue ball where it is and he/she shoots from there with the advantage you made 2 of his/her balls.

You leave as is and it's a deemed a foul shot, if the object ball leaves the table it is placed down the pocket.
