Not counting Dida ofcourse now that he has annouced the he will no longer play for the national team.

well with gomes, He's young, and he plays for a great club team, so he's gaining expierence with that team, playing big games and what not, I think Dida is excellent, but he's 33 now what is he gonna do for us, he wont play in the next world cup and dida knows himself that it's time to let the younger brasilian players form a nucleus for years to come....

When I 1st saw Dida (93) he played for Victoria FC (BA) I predicted he would someday start for the Brazilian Squad. I was laughed at but 12 years later I am right... I love Dida! But we have a goalie that has Dida's hand skills, a lot more jumppower, faster reflexes, and is also an excellent penalty catcher! But where he really stands out is in his ability to create counter atacks. His name is Helton started his career in Vasco da Gama F.C I predicted in 2000 that he would, eventually, be the Brazilian starting keeper., when he was finally being noticed nacionaly he made a dumb move to a small club in Portuguese soccer (Uniao de Leiria FC... or something)... I thought it was a terrible move... But apparently he's caught the atention of Porto F.C., and now, he not only stars for them , but he is the back-up goalie for Brazil. Just a matter of time till he takes the starting spot. He is awesome...and a very well kept secret!
Other possible names Rogerio Ceni (SaoPauloFC) JulioCesar (Inter Milan) Fabio (Cruzeiro)...

I miss dida too...,but let's give gomes the chance to demonstrate that he's dignified to be the brazil's goalkeeper! I think he's pretty good and I accept dunga's decisions regarding the team organization! if dunga is satisfied with he's performance,then he knows what he sais!

I gonna miss Dida!!!He's a great goalkeeper.....But I BELIEVE in Dunga's decision,except for the game against Norway he has done pretty good for Brasil..

I miss Dida....he was one of the best. I don't think he should've retired yet. He should've stayed for Copa America at least....i'm dissapointed. As for Gomes, I don't know, we'll just have to see....

I think ROGÉRIO CENI is the best of the WORLD.
But i know hes chace is poor.
