I accidently right clicked on an advert it went to my desktop and I cannot get rid of it , it is very annoying.

i would say a adware virus click on the thread to adware and spybot and run each after the other

Run both Ad-aware Peronal Edition ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com ) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.

try to unninstal last aplication installed and its related with that advert.
