songs and faces and things like that for commercials? Like when they put Lucille Ball on a lottery ticket here in Texas. She is dead, so how did they have permission to use her face on a LOTTERY TICKET, no less? And it is not only her, it is others too.

Yes I do. I was really upset when a baseball legend (Joe DiMaggio) endorsed coffee on commercials. He was alive when he did that, but it was a shame. Have you seen the commercials with Humphrey Bogart? I don't think it's right.

Have you seen the latest GAP commercial featuring Audrey Hepburn?? It makes me smile and dance to it, but when I think about it...it just saddens me to see her all happy and making silly faces in the commercial, but in reality, she's gone:(. So, yea I know what you mean. But hey, people would do almost anything for money.

I think it is.
so what if the family is getting royalties.
for all you know the person might have hated their family and hated the idea of being on a lottery ticket.
its just using them for commercial gain.

They probably got hold of a lawyer, an agent and a medium, and then held a seance to get her permission. I saw some dude on T.V channelling Marilyn Monroe once to her husband, and he totally believed it was her.
