My wife was a Regional Trainer with a large corporation and she had dinner with Uma Thurmond and Ethan Hawke in NYC. It was for a n ad campaign that Uma was going to do for the company. She said they were very friendly and down to earth....very normal people. She said actually Uma was a little shy at first. Obviously this was about 6 yrs ago when Uma and Ethan were still married.

I performed live on radio 4 about a year ago alongside Ken Dodd and Jean Boat. When Ken came in before the show he heard me practising in my dressing room and popped his head round the door. He commented something along the lines of he thought someone was in trouble when he heard the caterwauling, so he got a few choice words back from myself and my accompanist and then we enjoyed the joke! After the performance he said how much he had enjoyed my singing!

I have met a few in the line of my work, but I do not wish to divulge who, I might get sacked!!!! Ok, just one or two then, Sir Alan Sugar, Sebastian Coe, Rula Lenska, Feargal Sharkey, and Theo Paphitis from the Dragon's Den programme. And I once sat opposite the woman from Only Fools and Horses who plays Raquel. I also saw one of the Eastenders cast, but can't remember his real name, he played Bepe, he stood behind me in a queue and we were laughing at how long it was taking.

He bought lettuce some cold cuts (ham and turkey) some dog food and bread. He signed some autograph and took quite a few pictures with the other customers and employees. That was a pretty cool day in st Louis.

I grew up next door to a local celebrity and only found out that he was a singer when I was like 15. His name is Daniel Rae Costello and he is a well known singer in the Fiji Islands. I still live next door still and we keep a close relationship.

The greatest ever...I was living in Irvine, CA with my ex in 1997. We were sitting outside of a little head shop on the beach, waiting for it to open, when a man walked by.

We'd seen him earlier going up the other side of the street, and my ex insisted he was Robert Englund. So when he came by this time, my ex stopped him and asked him about local theatres, which were good to get into, etc.

Robert offered up some advice about a lovely, little theatre he enjoyed and had worked at. When he finished, my ex thanked him, shook his hand and told him his name and that it was nice to meet him.

Now, this entire time not one thing has been mentioned about who he was or the fact that he was famous.

Mr. Englund smiled, shook my ex's hand, and responded, "It's nice to meet you, Randy. My name is Robert."

And then he walked off. The entire thing was so very cool.
