You know what do you really want to know the true answer to that? Well I'm going to tell you it because of all that you said, and that includes me. I like to write and answer some to these questions because some people need to hear things straight and not mixed up. The other thing is that the majority of all people that are online don't have anything else better to do with there time but write questions and answer questions just like me.

See I am not ashamed of coming here and answering questions and asking some sometimes and I am not ashamed to say that yes I am bored and yes I want the points and yes I want the prestige and yes I want to help somebody. I am not ashamed of anything that I do because I am honest with myself.

So if I am writing to you at this very moment believe me when I am telling you I am bored and looking for something to do.

1 and 2

All of the above. I enjoy answering questions that I know the answer too - especially if I know I'm the first person there with the right answer. I enjoy answring the joke questions because it entertains me, and most of all I like to answer questions, because it gives me the opportunity to give my views, knowledge and opinions to thousands of people.

Also, I get to learn things too!

I do dislike they way that more people are abusing it though, by having a go at people that don't share their views, there's just no need for that. If you don't agree, say so - don't make personal insults or threaten people!

It would be all of those.

Some people like competition. Some people like levels that are set and want to achieve that. (this is the reason Yahoo put up levels).
Some are just wanting to kill time and find it fun to do.
Some like to be funny and joke around. Make others laugh.
Some like to actually share their experiences with others.
Some like to really try to help one another.
Some like to try for the best answer.
Some people may meet friends on here.

Actually it's fast losing it's appeal, the violations are ridiculous, and some people think you are being horrible just cause you say something they don't like
