Ok I just got a positive pregnancy test back (yipee), but fot he past week I've eaten very little. I always feel hungry but as soon as I even think of food I feel ill, unless its something I REALLY REALLY want. But I cant keep running out to but what I'm craving at that moment in time.
Is this a form of morning sicknesss, hasd anyone else had anything similar?
I will check with my doc too when see him next week.

Morning sickness comes in many forms....
I couldn't eat much my first trimester either, I'd spend hours thinking about and craving a particlar food, then go get it, or make some, or get my husband to make some, I'd sit down, take a bite, and literally shudder. Couldn't swallow, couldn't even sit at the table and see the plate full of it.
So frustrating, for me & for my poor hubby!
Seriously, food aversions are really common. as long as you're eating something, keeping something down, you should be fine. You're not suppoed to gain more than a couple pounds in the first trimester anyhow, so don't worry too much! Just try when you do eat to eat something that counts, nutritionally. And make sure you're taking your vitamins.
If you're getting to your wits end, try some plain pasta, or rice, or bread (try whole wheat or whole grain). They tend to go down easy, and settle your stomach a little.
Good luck, hope you're eating better soon!

Sounds like morning sickness.
You do not to be physically throwing up for it to be morning sickness.

Any nausea or faintness can be morning sickness.

Eat little meals a day. Lots of snacks.
Eat right away before getting out of bed. Eat crackers before even getting up. Regular chips can also help. I am not sure why but they do! lol

The key though is to eat small meals often to keep your energy level and nausea down.

There are some medications you can take to help but can be costly.

Its not morning sickness sweety, its just pregnancy cravings. It is completely normal, eat when you want o eat-don't when you don't want to. If you start craving weird things like glue, paper, etc... then talk to your doctor. If you cant bring yourself to eat regular food on a regular basis, then drink a nutrition shake or something similar. Always remember to take your prenatal vitamins too!
Good Luck.

Morning sickness is when you are throwing up.
It can be okay if you don't have much of an appetite, but you have to be really, really careful because you have to think of your baby and the nutrition you need to supply for the two of you. You must eat well.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I couldn't keep anything down, day or night. I was hungry, but just couldn't take it. It went away after a few weeks. I couldn't even eat my grandmothers homemade spaghetti.
