Review all of the information from the previous day and make a decision on what to do the next day. Depending on how big or small the business and the level of management (executive, front line, department, etc.), your decision could impact whether a division/department is expanded, closed, moved, or merged. This is part of your day but there can be a lot more.

We need to fully understand the role of a manager and the decisions that they are called upon to act.Managers are present at all levels within an organization from junior managers through senior managers.What they do depends on the level which the organization requires them.Junior managers tend to deal with the management issues at an operational level,that is day-to-day issues.Senior managers deal with strategic matters and make major decisions.All managers regardless of their level base their decisions on information from internal or external sources.The type of decisions made fall under the following headings:
* Lower level of management typically make decisions covering;
-Day-to-day management of operations staffs.
-Allocating work to subordinates
-Arranging of staff rotas,dealing with staff absences
-Motivating staff
-Handling a departmental budget
The higher levels of management are responsible for;
- Strategic planning.This invloves the setting of overall objectives & Co.policies
- Market share
- Cash flow
- Profit
-Growth in profit
Now,you may choose among these...which level of a manager do you want to know?.You now have the answers.
God bless and more power.

Really, what jobs are priority, if all employees are doing their jobs well, are the quality and quantity standards being met, does this product/service need to be changed/deleted; or does one need to be added......... the list goes on and on
