Macarthur1977 has it right. Turn off the TV, your cell phone, get away from your computer, and make every external distraction your enemy. Seek some quiet in your life and the ideas will flow. Do this no less than once a day and make sure you have the Original Word Processor (i.e. a pen and paper) by your side.

no real books out there to get you started on being a good creative writer. reading some of the classics by great authors will give you a little help in their techniques, but your imagination is your greatest tool.

read "about writing" by stephen king....he has a lot of good advice to get you going.
