I have a Men's Titanium ring that reads "Titanium cv on the inside of the band. I wanted to know what this means.

I believe that would be Cyclic Voltammetry.

Titanium comes in different grades mostly the CP grades 1 through 4. I would imagine that the CV stands for a different grade. Titanium is combined with metals such as Aluminum, Manganese, Iron, Molybdenum and other metals to manipulate the final outcome of the alloy. The ring is not pure Titanium.
