I want to cut a song short and edit it a little but I dont know if I have the program to do it. I dont want to buy anything so if you know of anything that might possibly be on my computer already, plz let me know.

Start > All Programs > Entertainment > Sound Recorder
Very simple audio editor. Will let you open a file, cut it, add two clip together, etc. and resave. Not very powerful, and to edit you might have to cut the song into several clips, save them all, and then reassemble them. But for something simple, it can get the job done. And it is free and already installed.

i've got used Audacity for years. great application. loose. uncomplicated to apply. merely use popular computing gadget purposes. it incredibly is uncomplicated to extreme gentle and delete factors of songs. in case you alter bass, pace, extreme pass low pass etc., save your differences small as a manner to get the final effects.
