in the old days for example, people with honor would not stamp on other peoples heads after a fight. There were morals and values that people upheld and enforced themselves.

I think there are still individuals with such honour (English spelling, as opposed to your honor, American spelling). There are possibly fewer now a days - or possibly we have a romanticised view of the amount of individuals from way back then with such honour.
I think the largest difference today is that such honour is not well thought of and not rewarded. Very rarely is anyone even noticed when they do something honourable. However, maybe that is one of the characteristics of an honourable person - they dont look for recognition. They do something because it is the right thing to do.
So, I reckon there are possibly just as many honourable people as there always was, but honour is not held is an high esteem as it previously has been and that honourable people do not shout their actions from the roof tops so we are not necessarily aware of them and their actions.

Collectively the world never had honor. It has always been the individual.
I do have to agree with you though. It does seem like our society (assuming you are American) has taken a drastic turn towards a total lack of moral and ethical character.
While I am disgusted with so much of what I see in the media and in my daily life, I am inclined to remember that "I" have the choice to be who "I" am. Those of us who choose to respect the lives of our fellow men are fewer and further in between than in recent past, but we are not extinct.
Keep your head up man. It's not all lost as long as there are some of us doing the right thing.

Honor? Hardly a word in use anymore.
Ever hear of the expression..."The fish stinks from the head down".
Maybe that's about honor.

the world has not lost its honor. putting stamp on other people heads after a fight is not losing of honor. it is just a sign made which you could not understand why they are putting that stamp. ask the person who stamp a head for you to understand their purpose and do not jump to conclusion that it is a losing of honor
