Make sure the cable between the screen and the PC is firmly plugged in. If one of the pins is not making a good connection then one of the colours (Red, Yellow or Blue) will dominate the screen. Mine sometimes goes a yucky shade of yellow if this happens but I have had pink too

You don't say where on the screen it is turning a pink shade, but if your VDU is a CRT type, check that your speakers are not too close to the screen - the magnetic field from the speakers can affect the electron beam and cause slight colour shading at the edges.

It could be a problem with the lead from the pc video card to the monitor try moving the lead about a bit see if it improves it.
Contact the manufacturers website, and contact them see what they think it is.
I know I had problems once and it was the lead , the monitor was insured and they decided it was cheaper to replace it than fit a new lead

How old is your PC? When a monitor gets old, some colors are brighter than others. If this is the case, it would be the yellow & cyan colors are conking out, thus making red the stronger color. I think a technician can solve that. If this doesn't work, look at the other suggestions. They are also pretty good.

Are the lettering, pictures and icons also reddish?

Obviously we cannot see the controls on your monitor, but if you have color balance (many newer ones don't) turn down red.

You video card could also be the culprit.
