Wash them, dry them on the line then give them a 5 minute blast in the tumble dryer. They will stop malting and making you look like the towel, be super absorbant and still be really really soft from the dryer.

I don't know anything about "fluffing" but I do know that adding fabric conditioner to washed towels is very bad!

you cant thatjust towels for you i put them in the dryer and also on the line but the same out come so i gave up in the end.
i just buy new ones when they get all fluffed out

Don't buy cheap one`s,try Egyptian cotton towels same with bed
sheets and stop drying in the dryer this is why they fluff
hang out to dry and smell the freshness

Add detail, what do you mean by fluffing??
I deliberately want mine fluffy. They are more absorbent that way.
Do you mean shedding of the fibers?? If that is what you mean, they will stop after a couple of washings.

soak in a bowl/bucket of cold water overnight and then wash them. makes them more absorbant too!
