There is a free program called eraser that scribbles in unused disk blocks.

Well you go to the start menu and go to all programs, second go to accessories, Third go to system tools, and then go to disk clean-up and click on it. lastly a menu will pop up and it will have lot of numbers next to files that are saved on you computer over time. Some of the folders will let you view the files in them. Most of the files are from the Internet. You will need to check all of the boxes with number along the side of then. Then click on clean and you are done but it will start to clean and it will take about a few minutes.

Defrag the hard drive. Click on Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disk Defragmenter
