Try taking two children's chewable vitamins instead. That's what I did with all three pregnancies.

Well, first of all, vitamin's don't have to be marketed and bought as 'Prenatal' in order to be good for your baby. A prenatal vitamin is simply a multivitamin with more folic acid, iron, vitamin A and Vitamin C than a normal multivitamin.
Remember that a prenatal vitamin is only there to supplement your diet, not replace it. So, the best thing you can do is to take any multivitamin that has folic acid in it ( they all have the others ) and make sure that you're eating well. This way, you have the extra vitmains and minerals to supplement your diet, and you can pick something that you're going to be able to keep down.. cause lets face it.. vitamin's only work if they stay INSIDE your stomach.
So, recap.. pick any multivitamin that you want, as long as it has folic acid in it, and your baby will be healthy.. as long as you EAT well also.

No, they all taste bad. They are very strong (and need to be for growing fetus) swallow quick with soda or something sweet.
Take a TUMS antacid if your burp vitamin taste.
To the answerer above. Read the label NO WAY! A children's chewable does NOT have the right balance & amounts of nutrients. I bet your Dr. didn't agree with that choice.

Try prenatal plus if you are not going to take a vitamin especially for pregnancy I think you should talk to your doctor. Try taking it at night with food than go to bed

Take Flinstone complete. You have to take two of them a day. One in the morning and one at night but it is better than the prenatal vitamins. Talk to your doctor and double check with him. But I am sooo glad I switched.

I've gone through 4 pregnancies..... and could not stomach ANY brand of vitamins. I tried many, many different ways..... and gave up trying because I didn't want to vomit any more. I just ended up chewing on tums a lot and eating healthier foods sometimes children's chewables stayed down. Good luck to you

I know that prenatals are terrible....but if you can take it, that's best for you and baby. However, I've been told by several doctors that Flintstones vitamins are as close to prenatal as you can get.

Get over it. They don't have to taste good. Just take the vitamins and deal with it. They make you feel sick because you're pregnant. That's life.
