hi there, i have done this as I was an art student for four years.
Sit yourself in a room with pen and paper, or notepad, put on your favourite music heavy metal - to chill out, don't let anyone disturb you for at least 30 minuites. No tv computers etc. Now your mind will think of all the weirdest thoughts memories, write down as many as you can whilst thinking at the same time(!), and draw them, later surreal as as it sounds, its definately different. The only other thing is the complete opposite kind of illustrationwhich Da Vinci did he was able to draw the perfect circle. Try to do that with a difference. Forgive me if its not

explore shapes and line using a study of GITKSAN style. A style of the Pacific Northwest native americans commonly used on totem poles and sculpture.
Put that word into wikipedia or search engine and get some ideas.
My own illustrations lately are gitksan studies.

Oh i admire this question. in case you will get away with being precis...p.c.. your medium. locate colorations a shade scheme that makes you think of paranoid.colorations that placed you at unwell-eases. take a seat and placed some song on that provides out that vibe. think of of issues that make you paranoid, and in basic terms permit it rip. that's how I do those varieties of issues. in case you're no longer utilising shade attempt doing the comparable element with a pencil. Create the sensation with out thinking to plenty approximately it (IMO). or perhaps do a drawing of a guy or woman being paranoid approximately having an artwork project.....;^)

I don't know what illustration project you are concern with but as you read this message, take a minute time to reflect and then whatever comes to your mind ... do it ! That's what your illustration project should all be about. Good luck!

Draw something you are interested in and good at drawing. I like those Japanese manga characters, they have such amazing detail to them, why don't you draw them or even make your own ones up?
