Um, I'm hoping you're not really asking if it's OK. You know the answer to that one.

And I'm not sure what you mean by showing him it's wrong. He VERY CLEARLY knows that, otherwise he wouldn't be SNEAKING and LYING. Was she his best friend in LIFE? I mean, sheesh, why else would they be talking if they weren't cheating or ultimately intending to?

Set your boundaries.

No it's not right for him to call her , he is a married man now, ask him how would he feel if the shoe was on the other foot, it might start out just talking but it could lead up to more.If he lies about that what else is he lying about?

I agree in the most part that it is a form of cheating, There should be no behind the back talking unless their is something really going on, What else could be going on behind your back, any changes in behavior or home time? that should answer your question.

It is ok for him to call her, but not to lie about it. If he loves you and they don't have kids together then he should not be calling her. If they are still good friends, he could call her but don't lie to you about it. If he's calling and lies then you need to tell him how you feel. If you can, call his ex and get to be friends with her. She may not even know that he's married.

OF COURSE IT'S NOT OK. ESPECIALLY THAT HE'S LYING TO U ABOUT IT. A GOOD AND SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP IS BASED ON HONESTY AND COMMUNICATION. SO... THE BEST THING U CAN DO IS TALK TO HIM ABOUT UR CONCERNS. AFTER ALL, UR MARRIED, UR A TEAM AND U SHOULD DEAL WITH UR PROBLEMS TOGETHER. TELL HIM THAT HE HURTS U, BY NOT BEING HONEST TO U. WHY WOULD HE LIE IF HE HAS NOTHING TO HIDE? EXPLAIN TO HIM HOW THAT WHOLE THING MAKES U FEEL AND I'M SURE THAT IF HE CARES ABOUT U HE WOULDN'T HURT U ANYMORE.

Its not okay!!!Sorry to be the one to say this to you, but there is definately something going on if he lies about when he phones her.He obviously has something to hide.I dont want to tell you what to do, after all he is your husband, you know him better than anyone, but I think you should talk to him or seek counselling.

Heck no, it's not ok. If they have kids together, he should be inquiring about them in front of you. I don't think he needs to wait till work to ask about them. Other than that, it's wrong. Give him an ultimatum and then see where you stand.

If you keep nagging him, you will drive him more towards her, because she doesnt nag him like you do

You just need to be real clear that this behaviour is not acceptable to you, and you want it to stop.

If he loves you enough to be married to you, he should. I wouldn't risk my marriage for an ex-girlfriend.

If he continues drag his butt into counseling, and if that doesnt work, divorce court

Just talk to your husband casually saying you had a brief chat with your ex-boyfriend today. While saying this, express your happiness and try make him feel jealous.

That is so so wrong.

Why on earth would he want to be calling an ex?

It is very inappropriate.

For him to be calling any other women, ( unless its for business or mutal friends for a actual reason )................thats unacceptable
