sqrt(1,000,000,000) =
sqrt(100,000,000) * sqrt(10) =
10,000 * sqrt(10) =
10,000 * 3.16227766 (approximately) =
31,622.7766 (approximately)

You can also use google.com, just type in "square root of 1,000,000,000" and it will give you the answer directly.

hey you are on a computer right? click on your start button on the lower left hand corner of your screen and scroll over all programs and then click on accessories, you should have a calculator on your computer in that list, anyways your first answer is correct, figured I would just save you five points for the next time
