License as in business license, not driver's license. He's just thinking of hauling away trash in the back of his pickup.

As long as you have a suitable vehicle to haul it and depending on what state you are in a valid registration for that vehicle most dump sites will just ask you what exactly the load contains. There isn't much more to it.. You may end up purchasing insurance for property damage if anything would happen to fall out of your vehicle or if you would damage something while removing the contents from your customers homes.. Where are you planning to dump this? You will need a truck drivers' license and the dump will need to know who you are and what you are hauling.

Better check.
