Not if that people was going to university or college. When i was 20 i have only work for 2 summers as a receptionist, but i had just finished a bachelor degree. the license is neither here not there. if u r not doing anything and just lazing around then that is odd.

Afraid It's a sign of the times, when government likes to keep a large pool of unemployment to keep the unions in check then it's the young who suffer by not getting any work and the dole wouldn't pay one enough to run a car unless they're living off of mum & dad. I'm afraid it's the norm today. And the job's are still going out of the country, mostly to India. The trouble is, the kid's loose their incentive to look for work and lacking in skills, they fall by the wayside!

Not at all if you are continueing your education. I got a job straight out of high school and still didn't get my license till I was 20. Walking to and home from work gave me a warm up cool down time.

compared to me it is- ive worked since i was young and got my license at 16- even though i could drive before that on private property-

i came from a rural background so it would be odd for me but if you are an urban person then it is probably more normal because you have public transit. hopefully you are going to school if you arent working because that is work(you just dont get paid)

Not really. Many people in Australia and the UK do not get jobs if they continue full time educaton at university. If so they may not work until 21.

Define Odd? Define Normal?? It's different for each persons perspective!
If you have no regrets about life so far, then there is nothing odd!

Not really, especially if they are going to school.

If not going to school and not a retard, then yes, that is odd.
