We don't tend to fly around the country as we are rarther small in comparrison to the States. But if you were to travel from London to say Scotland or The North of England you would usually go on something like BMI (British Midland) or BMI Baby, Ryanair, Easy Jet or Buzz.

Ryanair ......cheap, who else can u fly with for a penny....check out for the little extra charges, like for luggage, if ur only going for a weekend, try and take just hand luggage as they charge for anything bigger.....hope this helps
