what should i get my girlfriend for her birthday?its on 17th october.She is in Norway and I'm in UK so basically i will have to post her a gift and don't know what to get her..i know her style of fashion is really hard!which is a NO go zone for me to buy her any clothes!any ideas?

fly to norway, or get her to come to uk, a romatic night out, and a weekend off to go somewhere. since you don't see her that often, this will be a nice outing.
if not possible, order flowers and a present to be delivered to her in Norway. chocolate, too. present? maybe some light, pretty jewellery - or a nice, fancy long overcoat. it's cold in norway, isn't it?

It's her birthday, you are her boyfriend. Maybe she might like to see you? Then maybe you can go and have a night out together!
No brainer really unless you can't aford to see her. If that's the case then how about naming a time your go over and saving for that day!

A birthday card with a photo of the 2 of you together wiv a pressed rose then write on the back of the picture 'you'll get your real present when I see you' ;-)
