Honey, you are doing it when you write him those letters and send him the packages. You are showing him that you love & miss him very much and that you will always be here waiting for him when he comes home. You are making his trust & love for you become even stronger. With you just being here for him and writing to him everyday, that is not only showing him that you are supporting him that is also building up his self esteem & comfidence. Because you are showing him that you support him in everyway that is also letting him know that you love & miss him very much and that you are and will always be standing by his side, and that you will be waiting for him until that day comes when he will be returning home to you..
Good Luck & God Bless You Both!

I think that if you are sending letters and packages, then you are doing great! When a person is deployed to the sandbox, hearing from their loved ones is very important.
Keep up what you are doing. Send pics from home...of you, kids, pets, etc...just let him know you love him and can't wait for him to come home.

I notice that there is one thing that some females do. They will talk about their problems simply to talk about them. Please resist this behaviour when talking to him. Males tend to go into the "fix it" mode when women talk this way and a guy will think that you want help when actually all that a woman wants is to just *talk* about the problem (Often she already knows what to do to solve it).
The guy will think that things are going to hell in a hand basket back at home and for the time he's in Iraq, he definitely doesn't need to be distracted by this.

Let him know that you love him, and that you're waiting for him and things are fine on the home front!!

first of all as an ex military member who has served in the middle east before, i just wanted you to know that i support our military over there and am proud of each and everyone of the troops, so give mad props to your husband for doing so.

Secondily, im not sure what else you are able to do for him, keep the packages, emails and stuff going to him and keep reminding him that you love him everytime he calls.

I use to have my wife then tape my favorite shows and mail them to me, kinda helped pass the time.

You can support him with more of what your doing....home made cookies, magazines. My son was there, I also sent him
dog "flea" colors, because they have sand fleas there. They put them around there ankles to keep them away...also he was there
over Halloween-I sent him Halloween candy, and little things that go with that theme...and fly your flag proudly, cause you got one of the guys over there...Good Luck and GOD Bless.....

When anyone is out of station he misses his family so the key is being in touch. Use all the medium of communication.
