theres no way to tell. the ortho can give you a rough estimate on how long...but it could be longer, could be shorter. he told me i'd have mine on for 2- 2 1/2 years...i've had them on for 3. but then again, i've had friends who were supposed to have them on for 2 and got them off in 1 1/2. so it depends on the case. ask the orthodontist to get an approximate answer!
