Why would they use our current sitting President, and why show it now? Seems alittlle curious. It doesn't matter who our President is , it is very disrespectful to have a movie like this being shown on a current president.

Any assasination is bad, be he / she a good person or a dictator. Law has to take its course, not rule of the gun. Otherwise all will take law into their own hands and kill a person that they personally dont like.

The Drama was in bad taste, but thats what drama or movies are all about, make you think only.

Only problem with such drama's and movies is that it gives potential killers Ideas on how to go about it.

The British hypocrisy on this issue is astounding. We're supposed to sit back and 'not censor' what is supposedly a legitimate artistic enterprise.

Back in '75, Rod Steiger starred in a movie called 'Hennessy', that was about an IRA terrorist that sets out to blow up parliament and kill the Queen.
Dramatic footage was interspersed with actual footage of the Queen.

Guess what? The movie was banned in Britain.

How would you like it if someone filmed a realistic depiction of the murder of your Queen or Tony Blair? Though I'm sure that certain of your neighbours might clap their hands and wet themselves in glee, in general it is considered to be extremely poor taste to document the assassination of a sitting leader.

It would be like someone raping the Queen of England and then showing it on the internet.
