I think he was sacked from the band, he still lives in Sheffield. I remember him from a concert at Newcastle Upon Tyne 1980..& Phil Collen his replacement after he was sacked.

Pete is alive and well. I do remember them opening for Judas Priest in 1980. I saw Pete going to his tour bus totally smashed after the show, it couldn't hardly walk. Too bad, he was a gifted young Axe player.

All I know is they gave him the boot after they made the "High n Dry" album in the early eighties.

steve clark died - pete willis is still alive as far as i know!

He died from an alcohol related problem.
