Masturbating is not going to prevent you from growing. Girls are usually done growing in height at or around 12-16 and boys at around 14 -17, it all depends on your genetics. Your Mom told you that because she felt uncomfortable with seeing you do this so the first thing she could think of was you'll stop growing. Her parents probably told her that. Masturbating is absolutely a normal and safe thing that all of us do. Some more than others. So unless this is all you do all day long and it keeps you from other things, I say mastubate on!

Rubbish! I bet she also told you you'd get hairy palms, or that you'd get terrible acne, or you'd lose your eyesight.
It's crazy talk man, jerk off all you want to! Apart from a slightly sore wrist, there isn't much bad it can do you. And on the plus side it helps build a healthy prostate and is an important part of sexual development.

Since you said Mum and not Mom, I am going to assume you are from the UK. Rather than use an American expression, I'm just going to say that what dear old Mum told you is BOLLOCKS! All she is going to accomplish is to cause you to have sexual guilt and anxiety. There is no correlation between tossing and height. It won't make you go blind, it won't cause hair to grow on the palms of your hands, it won't drive you mad. It is a source of pleasure and stress-relief.

I don't know where you heard this, but it is NOT true. Like another said-it's RUBBISH. You will have growth spurts. She probably just didn't want you to do that anymore, so she lied about not growing. Don't worry about it. You will continue to grow until you're about 18 years old.

Yes, it will stunt your growth, also look for hair on the palms of your hand and weakening of your vision.
